SpacerSpacer Color portraits of Native American grandmothers strong women, with pride in their origins, photography in their natural settings keeping their traditions alive. Faces that show their history, people portraits of the history of North America. SpacerSpacer These travel portraits in color are mostly full length people portraits in a natural setting. This photographer and his relationship to his subjects is part of that picture. You see it in the faces, the objects, the colors, and the lighting. SpacerSpacer Landscapes are everywhere. In this day and age many are man made. Some landscapes show man through their absence, some show his skills at creating our living environment. But let’s never forget, landscapes are part and parcel of Mother Earth, as the indigenous people in the world know. Let’s share in their wisdom, and look at all Mother Earth’s appearances, new and old, so we can remember our roots and live as grounded individuals. SpacerSpacer In this series I try and show both the essence of the artist’s work and how he or she relates to that work. I am mostly interested in art that shows emotion….for me that makes a work of art into a personal statement. If my picture is good, it gives you an insight into that personal world of the artist. SpacerSpacer Traditional professions that have been practiced by humans for thousands of years all over the world like farming and fishing
