Technical information on RFG Art Photography fine art prints

When you buy a fine art print from us, we give you two options. Or you buy just the print from us which we ship to you in a protective container. That gives you the choice of doing your own mounting and framing. Or you buy your print matted and framed, where together with you we choose the different components to suit your fine art print.

RFG Art Photography offer all photos on optical or inkjet paper, framed or unframed with museum quality acid free materials. Framed prints come matted under non reflective polystyrene. Smallest print size 20 x 30 cm in a 30 x 40 cm frame.

Frames we can offer in wood in prevalent colors in a photo, but also a simpler very nice frame, in flat aluminum with a Bright White mat.
Samples of colored frames: Mahogany, Matte Black, Marine Blue, and Coffee Brown with mats in Bright White and Off White with the option of a colored liner in Limogene (very light) Pink or Clearwater (very light) Blue.

Because we believe in providing our customers with top quality products when it comes to fine art, RFG Art Photography offer you prints on traditional optical paper, in Europe on Fuji Optical paper up to 80 x 120 cm or in the US inkjet prints on Ultra Smooth Fine Art paper or Somerset® Velvet for Epson printed on a EPSON Stylus® Pro 9600 Series wide format printer. With its seven EPSON UltraChrome™ inks, it produces color prints with a color gamut approaching dye ink technologies. Use of this printer enables us to produce (on special order) prints up to 44”. Normally we offer Ultra Smooth Fine Art Paper size 17x22” or Somerset® Velvet size 24x30” for a sophisticated fine art look.

To provide the best protection, always keep prints behind a glass plate or a polystyrene shield with UF3 filter. Prevent exposure to moisture. Use gloves when handling paper to avoid smudges and finger prints on the printing surface.

NOTE: Actual print stability and longevity will vary according to image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity, and atmospheric conditions. Due to varying conditions of display or storage, which are beyond our control, RFG Art Photography can not guarantee stability or longevity of it's prints once they are out of our hands.
